Legal Brief for Moot Court Competition 2024

I was tasked with writing a legal brief for the class POLS 110, Moot Court. The document I constructed is a ten page argument that analyzes a constitutional question of citizenship for American Samoa. In the brief I provide the facts of the case and then produce reasoning for my stance on the case. To support my argument I rely on prior case law from previous SCOTUS decisions and lower court rulings. In addition to this, I also have a section in which I provide counter arguments to further support of my position.

Scots Take Episode 1 as a Co-Host

The Communication Studies department created a bi-weekly video production that was about various sport teams across campus. I was able to take a role in the production as co-host and a script writer for this episode. In collaboration with the producer Ryan Phillips, host Patrick Curry, and our advisor Professor Chris Goble we were able to construct a multi segmented show. This particular show saw me hosting a Q&A with a Monmouth athlete and coach along with providing support in crafting the overall premise of the show.
